9-07-06 : Asalahabucha ++ FIFA 2006
11:02 AM   today is Asalahabucha!!! Last night I watched World Cup Final match ( Frace - Italy ) finally Italy won , do sad ! The beautiful game turned vicious, even venomous Sunday. It was all still beautiful to Italy. And very ugly for France, which lost captain Zinedine Zidane with a red card after his nasty head butt in extra time, and then went down 5-3 in a shootout after a 1-1 draw. :<   Explanations were nonexistent for Zidane's action in the 110th minute of his farewell game. He was walking upfield near defender Marco Materazzi when, in his final act for his national team, he bashed his shaven head into Materazzi's chest.   They were impossible to beat and gave up only one goal actually scored by an opponent. And no, it was not pretty. Outplayed for an hour and into extra time, the Italians won it after Zidane committed the ugliest act of a tournament that set records for yellow and red cards, diving and, at times, outright brutality. While breaktime , there was the show Of Shakira ! but i don't like her much , her songs is too latin for me ...I 've almost sleep, her voice (singing this song) shaking me , woke up to watch the other half . HONORING SANGHA DAY The Full Moon Day of The Asalaha (the eighth lunar month)  I wrote details for my friends who didnot know , but I'm not sure that what technical terms were :P After The Lord Buddha enlighten on the full moon day of the sixth lunar month (Visakha), he spent seven weeks near by the Bodhi (PO) Tree. Afterward, he decided to teach the Dhamma to the others, even though there were difficulties for ordinary people to understand. His former teachers were dead, the next group of people he thought of were five ascetics called "Pancavaggi", group of five, who, at that time, lived in a forest named "Isippatanamarukatayawan", the deer park near Baranasi.   On the day before the full moon day of the eighth lunar month, Asalaha, there he was. The next day, the full moon day, The Lord Buddha gave them his FIRST SERMON called "Dhamma-cakkappavattana Sutta" or the Discourse on Setting the Wheel of Dhamma in Motion. Not long after that, the head of the Five Ascetics, named "Kondanna" got "The Eye of Dhamma" and asked for ordination from The Lord Buddha. He became the FIRST MONK in Buddhism. The full moon day of the eighth lunar month became the day that honored the Sangha, or the community of the monks. the most important of this day is there were 3 - Gems ( the enlighting Budda Lord * the Dhamma * The first monk ) I'll prepare to Wien Tien this evening !! |
