While this one does have some solid cuts on it, it's far from being the better of the two. Released on "Royal Ear Force", I think that this series swapped labels, something to that effect.Having said that, this is still a pretty good lounge compilation. The Funky Lowlives, Duplex Inc., Mo Horizons, Kyoto Jazz Massive, United Future Organization (UFO), Dzihan & Kamien and Nicola Conte all feature with some pretty cool cuts, with their tracks remixed. But unfortunately there's quite a bit of bland music between most of the songs. If you are fortunate enough to have the very first "Get Into the Martini Mood", then be forewarned that IMO this one is a step back. And for those interested in the first Martini Mood, I'll say again that it's one of my favorite lounge compilations, and has a rare remix - of Jaffa's "Elevator" as done by Nicola Conte. Also on the first is "Only You" by Popmachine, "Jet Society" by Cordoba Orchestra, "Fly Away" by Mo Horizons and a few other artists make some pretty cool appearances like Buscemi, Llorca, The Dining Rooms and Thievery Corporation  Martini Mood Vol.1 - Get into the martini mood Release Date (5. I always love hearing a sugababe track and hearing either Kiesha or Mutya deliver an amazing solo part as they are noth so talented. So that aside Mutya has now left unfortunatly and due to cicumstances ended up recording a solo album which I have to say is a great mix of pop, soul and RnB styles with some killer songs. These for me are lead off single "Real Girl" amazing dance track with a great chorus "Song 4 Mutya", dark and edgy "Strung out" killer lash out track " Not your baby" beautiful ballad "Wonderful" ( check out the soaring vocal right after the middle 8...wow! great Rnb styled Ronette's reworking alongside Amy Winehouse on backup vocals "B Boy Baby" and the final two tracks the catchy and midtempo "Paperbag" and the dreamy final track with the perfect middle 8 and catchy musical hook "My song"...fan of the sugababes or not this album is a keep and I think Mutya Buena will be around for quite song time! And that can only be a good thing. But then the Puppini Sisters are not a typical pop act, at least not in the 21st Century. Their close, three-part harmonies are reminiscent of the vocal groups of the 1930s and 1940s, and particularly the Andrews Sisters. But rather than sounding like an anachronism, the Puppini Sisters merely demonstrate the timelessness of some of these songs. Betcha Bottom Dollar is fresh, fun and vibrant, blowing the dust off of cobwebby classics like "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "Mr Sandman". Elsewhere, they also put their own unique stamp on more recent hits, with varying results. While Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" and Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" fail to get things swinging, Blondie's "Heart of Glass" and The Smiths' "Panic" are both injected with a fresh new (old?) sound. Much credit must also be given to producer Benoit Charest, who manages to employ a whole host of instrumentation and orchestration, whilst never forgetting to put the voices of the Puppini Sisters front and centre. It might be easy to dismiss the Puppini Sisters' debut as another novelty album, but their intentions and love for the style--like their voices themselves--are crystal clear  David Vendetta - Rendez Vous 01.
